Pick of the Day: Glitter-Face at Givenchy, PFW

Sparkling masks added an aura of mystique to the Givenchy show...which, on the whole, wasn't my favorite collection ever, but it was definitely interesting. Lots of sequins and drapey shit and folds and weird color combos-- and of course, a general Givench-y vibe of goth-space age-minimalism. For the first time, I actually wanted to read the vogue.co.uk review to see what the hell was going on with these masks.  Usually the reviews are just a dopey love letter to the designer, but often include some of the back story and inspiration for the collection-- so maybe in the coming hours we can see how Riccardo Tisci got to include the glitter-faced marauder look in his collection.
