Menswear London Fashion Week: Review

MENSWEAR! Just 'cause PIT is womenswear doesn't mean we have to ignore our vag-challenged friends and their exciting A/W 2014 season in London.  There was plenty for the street wise, and even a healthy dash of glitter.  I like my man with a little glitter on the side, so I was pleased as punch. Colors and graphics dotted most collections, although some (ahem, Savile Row) stayed true to the English tweedy palate of muted with a side of bland (no, I get it, it's classy. I REALLY DO APPRECIATE IT, I just don't wear it myself.) But that's fine anyway, we're in England.  Anyway, enjoy my edit of imagery from LFW Mens, and go here for the source of all these lovely pictures, Fashion156. We've seen a lot more daring and high production values for menswear recently, and I'm glad to report this trend continues.  Fashion film and experiential fashion shows were present: Alex Mattsson's "Glimpsing The Eternal" is a standout fashfilm, and themes of adrogyny, atypical shapes and breaking with tradition prevailed throughout the collections.
